Baggage Claim

BAGGAGE CLAIMS
Acceptance of Baggage by the bearer of the Baggage Identification Tag without complaint at the time of delivery is prima facie evidence that the baggage has been delivered in good condition and in accordance with the contract of carriage between us.


We shall not be liable for baggage claims unless in the case of damage to Checked Baggage, you report the damage to NokScoot staff or our Authorised Agent prior to leaving the baggage claim area, and at the latest, within seven (7) days from the date of receipt;

and in the case of delay, unless the complaint is made at the latest within twenty-­­one (21) days from the date on which the baggage has been made available to you. Every complaint must be made in writing and postmarked within the times aforesaid.

CLAIMS LIMITATION
Unless your right to claim for Damages has expired earlier as provided elsewhere in these
Conditions, you will have no right to claim for Damages if court proceedings are not brought
within two years from:
• The date of your arrival at your destination;
• The date the aircraft should have arrived; or
• The date on which your carriage stopped. The method of calculating the period of
limitation will be determined by the law of the court where the case is heard but in
accordance with the provisions of the applicable law.
